Varghese began performing stand-up comedy in 2001, and in 2005, he performed a short comedy special for Canadian-born comedian Russell Peters in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and New York. In the spring of 2006, he headlined a 16-city comedy tour. While competing on “The Funniest Comedian”, Varghese has also appeared on Showtime’s “Russell Peter’s Presents”, Telemundo 2’s “Loco Comedy Jam”, Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution.” Varghese opened for comedian Dave Chappelle on June 18, 2012, at the House of Blues in Dallas, and the following night at the Paramount Theatre in Austin. On May 31, 2014, Varghese opened for Joan Rivers at the IP Casino Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi. Ms. Rivers later opened for her several more times in June 2014. On March 8, 2007, she taped the first full episode of Comedy Central Gotham Live, which aired on July 13, 2007. The show continues to air weekdays on Dallas’ Live 105.3/Free FM radio station.
