Rudd has as both the more upbeat clone of Miles Elliot, an unhappy copywriter at Pool Branding, in the American science fiction comedy-drama television series Living with Yourself. Copywriter Miles Elliot of Pool Branding is having trouble getting pregnant and with his work. After making the decision to go to Top Happy Spa, he learns that he has been cloned. Unaware that he is a clone, New Miles experiences unusual but glad feelings, and his coworkers note a good shift in him. Miles chooses to alter himself in order to become more like his clone after discovering the truth, which strains their relationship.

Miles grows envious of his clone, and the owner of Hillston Telecom discovers that the work proposal was not created by Miles during a presentation. When he confesses that there are now two of him, Kate sets ground rules for the two of them, which includes New Miles getting an apartment of his own. As New Miles struggles to get used to being single, she brings a sample of her hair to the spa so that a clone can be made.

After Kate and Miles experience a miscarriage five years before to Miles’s cloning, they relocate to a suburban home. They turn aloof, melancholy, and frigid. When Kate chooses to give online dating a try, the spa staff rejects her. Miles eventually makes the appointment at the reproductive clinic, but the result of a referendum in his little town will determine whether or not he lives.

Kate extends an invitation to the clone to accompany her on a business vacation one week prior to Miles’s kidnapping, but tensions quickly rise. Miles is abducted by two men while the clone takes him to the woods to show him what transpired at the spa. After killing New Miles to avoid being questioned, Miles had a change of heart and uses CPR to bring him back to life. The three give each other a group hug as Kate reveals she is expecting, but the father will remain a mystery. They are all eager to create a family.

Rudd appeared as Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf in the American psychological black comedy-drama miniseries The Shrink Next Door. In 1982, Martin “Marty” Markowitz goes to see Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf for support on his sadness following the death of their parents and anxiety attacks. In 2010, Ike throws a party at a big mansion and uses an unusual approach to help Marty with a situation with his ex-girlfriend. Phyllis opposes Marty having a second bar mitzvah because she feels it will betray their memories, despite Ike’s suggestion. After Marty and Ike carry it out, Phyllis complains to her rabbi, who forewarns him of the situation.

Ike is hired by Marty to serve as a consultant for a fabric company when he unlocks the family trust fund. Ike gives birth to twin girls, but Marty won’t employ assistance, which puts Ike in the hospital and causes a heart attack. After Ike’s father dies in 1990, Marty invites Ike and his family to spend the weekend at his Hamptons home. After taking over the home, Ike persuades Marty to finish writing his manuscript and renovate. In addition, Ike hosts events at Marty’s Hamptons home, requiring Marty to serve his visitors.

In an effort to save the foundation from failing, Ike rejected a suggestion in 2010 to relocate it to New Jersey. After a hernia diagnosis and surgery, Marty never receives a visit from Ike while he heals. Marty attempts to get in touch with Phyllis again through Nancy, her daughter, but she vehemently rejects him. Marty ends things permanently with Hannah after learning that she never returned his calls due to Ike. Later, Phyllis confronts Marty as he approaches Nancy, but in the end, they make up.

In an attempt to persuade Marty and Phyllis of Phyllis’ toxicity, Ike arrives while they are burning his belongings from the house. At last, Marty asserts his own rights and urges Ike to go. A year later, Marty is back in contact with Phyllis and her family, and he’s filed a lawsuit against Ike to try and have his license revoked.
