After graduating from college in 2018, Paige was offered a rare opportunity to work at NTV Houston. When she became the first Black woman to work for a Southeast Asian digital station there, she created history. She earned experience as a reporter at NTV while covering some of Houston’s most major stories. Paige moved on to work behind the scenes on the assignments desk at KHOU 11 news. Paige left Houston to work for KFDM/FOX 4 news in Beaumont because she missed being out in the field reporting and interacting with the community.
She was managing editor of her undergraduate newspaper and the creator of “news in flash,” a digital show that is being shown today. Paige worked as an intern at FOX 26 News and KPRC Channel 2 in Houston, where she was able to go on the air. Paige is passionate about community-based storytelling and journalism. She calls herself a “news junkie” and is proud of her ability to work both behind and in front of the camera. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, US Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Stephen Merchant, creator of the smash sitcom “The Office,” are among her most memorable interviews.
