Orange Is the New Black
He appeared as crooked corrections officer George “Pornstache” Mendez on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. George “Pornstache” Mendez is presently on probation after serving as a corrections officer at Litchfield Penitentiary and as an inmate at a maximum security prison for men. He appears in Season Two as a supporting antagonist after serving as the tertiary antagonist in Season One. Because of his striking moustache and short, dark hair, Mendez is known as the “Pornstache.” It appears that his paternal ancestry is Cuban. Mendez has grown a beard and an undercut on his hair as of season five. He is depicted as having grown a mullet and shaving off his moustache while inside.
Mendez is a dishonest prison guard who assaults prisoners sexually and misuses his power.Much of his exaggerated and terrifying attitude stems from his loneliness and his sense of being viewed as a “sex object.” Dayanara Diaz makes it seem as though she is interested in him, which causes Mendez to alter and become madly in love with Daya. He declares his love for Daya and her unborn child with pride after being dismissed and taken into custody. Mendez is still a loving father to Armaria despite his irrational and unstable love for Daya. Mendez has a decent side despite his perverse and sociopathic tendencies, as demonstrated in the episode “Fucksgiving” when he grudgingly consents to send Piper to the SHU after she is accused of having inappropriate contact with Alex.
American Gods
Schreiber appeared as Mad Sweeney, a leprechaun in the employ of Mr. Wednesday; he has trouble coming to terms with losing his charm in the American fantasy drama television series American Gods. After his wife passes away, Shadow Moon is given an early release from prison and meets Mr. Wednesday, who extends an employment opportunity to him. After refusing, Shadow ultimately receives an opportunity to work as a minder. He discovers himself in a magical realm where magic exists and the Old Gods are afraid of the New Gods’ expanding influence, which includes media and technology. Shadow finds it difficult to adjust to his new world and his role in it while Mr. Wednesday attempts to get the Old Gods together to defend their existence and regain their power.
Halo
Schreiber was cast as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a towering, genetically-engineered Spartan supersoldier and the leader of Silver Team in the American military science fiction television series Halo. The fight in Halo, which takes place in the 26th century, is between the human race and the powerful extraterrestrial coalition known as the Covenant. Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, a super-soldier of the Spartan-II program, and a number of other significant figures from the video game franchise form the core of the narrative.
Rather than being a continuation, adaptation, prequel, or sequel, executive producer Kiki Wolfkill disclosed that the series is a standalone story that takes place within its own “Silver Timeline” that is distinct from and inspired by the core canon and lore of the transmedia franchise. They stated that they wanted to give the two Halo canons an opportunity to evolve independently to suit their respective media.
Schreiber Defending Jacob
Schreiber portrayed Neal Loguidice in the American crime drama miniseries Defending Jacob. Under Lynn Canavan, Neal Loguidice serves as an associate district attorney with Andy Barber. Neal’s trials are notorious for his recklessness. Jacob Barber faced numerous objections during his trial, even defying the judge’s directive to keep William Barber out of the conversation. Dan Rifkin began to worry that Neal might allow Jacob to escape punishment as a result of this.
Following Patz’s confession to killing Ben, Jacob’s case was dismissed. Neal considered entering the private sector following the case, but Andy advised Lynn Canavan that he should stay. Neal oversaw a grand jury investigation to ascertain whether Laurie Barber’s vehicle accident that left Jacob in a coma was actually an accident. There, he experienced the trials of the Barber family. Neal begged Andy to confess the truth in order to bring justice to Jacob, even if Andy maintains that it was genuinely an accident. In any case, Andy sticks to his guns, which persuades the jury not to charge Laurie.
