He appeared as a special contestant on MADtv in the 1990s. Francisco’s stand-up act spread to the United States in 2000 when he had his own half-hour comedy special on Comedy Central. Carlos Mencia toured with Freddy Soto. He later performed with VH1’s ILL-rated Jay Leno on Late Night, “The Voiceover Dude” (same as “Movie Voiceover Guy”), and Frank TV on Mind of Mencia.
