Nore Davis is an American stand-up comedian and actor who has been on Comedy Central and MTV shows. He is an actor and writer, known for Guards, Go/Don’t Go (2020) and Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony (2009).

Career

He first started performing stand-up comedy at a young age while living in Yonkers, New York. His interest in stand-up comedy as a career began when he simply attended open mic nights and performed in college. However, after realizing that university was not for him, he realized that acting was what he wanted to do to make a living. Davis worked at a gas station and then in graphic design before deciding to pursue a full-time career as an actor. Davis was good friends with Amy Schumer early in her career. They often shared comedy ideas together, and eventually when Schumer had her own show on Comedy Central called Amy Schumer, Davis appeared again in one of the show’s skits.

Davis has also appeared on Russell Simmons Presents, Last Week Tonight, MTV’s Nikki & Sara Live, NickMom’s Night Out, The Artie Lange Show, and HBO’s Played took place. A supporting role in “Boardwalk Empire.” He has also appeared in various videos on CollegeHumor. On November 28, 2014, Davis released her debut single, “Home Game”. On November 23, 2018, Davis released her second comedy album, Too Woke, through Blonde Medicine. The album was recorded in early 2018 at Union Hall in Brooklyn, New York. The album consists of two volumes, each consisting of 7 songs. It was named one of the ten best comedy albums of 2018 by Vulture. In Succession Season 2 Episode 6, Davis plays comedian Zell Simmons.
