Cyrus was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 8, 2000, to producer and director Tish Cyrus and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Her parents had a volatile marriage, filing for divorce on several occasions but eventually reconciling. Miley, Braison, Brandi, Trace, and Christopher Cyrus are among her siblings, all of whom are musicians and entertainers. Ron Cyrus, their paternal grandfather, was a Kentucky politician.
Noah Cyrus Career
Cyrus’s first television role was at the age of three in the TV show ‘Doc’ in 2003. She played Gracie Hebert in nine episodes of the show starring her father Billy Ray. She landed a couple of minor roles in her sister’s Disney Channel TV series ‘Hannah Montana’ in 2008. She was in about six episodes of the show. She also appeared as a background dancer in ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ in 2008, and was cast as a “Trick or Treater” in the straight-to-DVD film ‘Mostly Ghostly’. Her biggest break as a child artist came after she landed the title role as a voice artist/ actor in the English-dubbed animated Japanese film ‘Ponyo’.
Later in 2012, she appeared as a guest on the talk show ‘The Joey and Elise Show’ and was cast in four episodes to voice both Hugo and Rita on the animated English version of the animated TV series ‘Hugo & Rita’. She was cast as a guest in three episodes of the TV comedy show ‘Take 2’ two years later. She played Allison in the episode ‘Don’t Stick That in My Eye’, Adamley in ‘Bueller Bueller’ and Deb in the episode ‘Light A Match’. Noah has appeared on several hit talk shows, including ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ and ‘iHeart Radio Live Sessions,’ at the age of seventeen.
Noah signed a record deal with Barry Weiss’ record label in November 2016 and soon after released her debut single ‘Make Me (Cry)’ from her debut album. The song is a pop ballad duet with Labrinth, a well-known UK singer-songwriter. She also released an acoustic version of the song ‘Almost Famous’ in December 2016. She featured in the song ‘Chasing Colors’ with electronic music from DJ ‘Marshmello’ and ‘Ookay’ in early 2017. On April 14, 2017, her second single from the album ‘NC-17’ was released to radio stations worldwide. The song, titled ‘Stay Together,’ charted in the United States. Her album is scheduled to be released at the end of 2017.
