Nina Foxx is an American writer, playwright, and filmmaker. Prior to becoming a writer, Foxx worked at Dell. She has written many books, co-authored one writing book, and had her work anthologized several times.

Foxx has lived in Austin, Texas. Foxx co-directed Marrying Up, which was based on her book of the same title. In addition to his cinematic work, Foxx is the Executive Producer of the feature film Magic Valley, which was an official selection at the 2011 TriBeCa cinematic Festival. In 2014, Foxx received a nomination from the NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Literary Work in Fiction.
