Wallace’s 2010 novel Eighteen Acres (a reference to the 18 acres on which the White House complex sits) is a fictional narrative about three powerful women at the pinnacle of their careers. Madam President, her third novel, was published in April 2015. It’s Classified, Wallace’s sequel to Eight18 Acres, was released in September 2011. It’s Classified is about a fictional presidential campaign plagued by a mentally ill vice presidential candidate.

Wallace joined The View as a new co-host on September 3, 2014, alongside newcomer Rosie Perez. Wallace made her debut as a co-host on the series’ 18th season premiere on September 15, 2014. Wallace was fired from the show at the end of the season.
