Amanda renames the refrigerator “Lip Only” and plans Lip’s daily activities. Jason and Sheryl, Amanda’s wealthy white parents, adopted her from a “Subic Bay whorehouse.” Amanda gives Lip $10,000 in exchange for keeping his daughter at bay, but she doesn’t chastise him for accepting less than the BMX boyfriend received. Amanda extends an invitation to Lip to stay at their Miami mansion for a week with her and her family. Amanda grows more devoted to Lip and envious of him as she falls in love.
Sakura role on Superstore
On Superstore, Sakura plays Cheyenne Lee, the vivacious and stylish adolescent mother of the store. After Amy left Cloud 9 Store 1217, Cheyenne Taylor Lee, a sales associate, was given a promotion to Floor Supervisor. She’s vivacious and entertaining, but a tad foolish as well. The show opens with her at the age of 17. She forms ties with Mateo and Garrett and enjoys gossiping. She looks up to Amy and frequently follows her counsel, referring to her as “old and wise.” She also has a tendency to chuckle uncontrollably when uncomfortable.
Her hair has been tinted dark blonde, with hints of pink, blue, and green around the edges. Harmonica is her daughter, and she and Bo are married. When Mateo attempts to create an alliance with the Asian employees of the store, Tornado confirms that she is Asian in ancestry. In “Wedding Day Sale,” Amy tries to make Bo and Cheyenne aware of the expense of care as they shop for their wedding. They reconcile and discuss how long their union will endure.
