She is an actress and writer who has appeared in films such as Normal Life (1990), Love Always (1996), and National Lampoon’s European Vacation (1985). Zappa was born in New York City, as the eldest child of Gail (née Sloatman) and musician Frank Zappa. She has three younger siblings named Dweezil, Ahmet, and Diva. Zappa’s father was of Sicilian, Greek-Arab, and French ethnicity, while her mother was of German and Portuguese origin.

Moon Career
Zappa first came to public attention in 1982 at the age of 14, when he was featured on his father’s hit single “Valley Girl”. The song features Moon’s monologue during “Valley Talk”, a popular talk show among young women in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. “Valley Girl” was Frank Zappa’s biggest hit in the United States, and was famous for its lyrics such as “gry to the max” and “gag me with a spoon”. The song appeared on his father’s 1982 album The Boat Came Too Late to Save the Devil. In the mid-1980s, Zappa and his brother Dweezil were frequent guests on MTV. appeared on Dweezil’s singles “My Mother Was A Cadet” and “Crunchy Water” in 1982, and on the song “Let’s Talk About It” from his 1986 album Havin’a Bad Day.
Zappa appeared in the TV series CHiPs, The Truth About Life, and the film Nightmare as a teenager. At the age of 18, he became a consultant and appeared in several episodes of Fast. As an adult, she has worked as a spectator, journalist, and actor, appearing in the films National Lampoon’s European Vacation and Spirit of ’76, the TV sitcoms Normal Life and Super Mario Bros. Super Show. Zappa portrayed a veiled Muslim woman in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Ted Mosby’s cousin Stacy on How I Met Your Mother, and (“Cosmetologically Spoiled to the Point of Rudeness”) in an episode of Roseanne. In 2013, Zappa starred in the Fox Broadcasting Company’s animated Dominion HD series High School America!
