Miranda’s talent impressed her, and she immediately signed her up. Miranda joined the all-girl pop-rock band ‘Cherri Bomb’ in 2008. She joined the band as the rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, and backup singer. The band’s name was inspired by one of Carrie Borzillo’s novels.
