Better Things
Madison starred in the American comedy-drama television series Better Things as Max Fox, Sam’s erratic, furious, but generally decent oldest daughter. Sam Fox is an actress in the business who has three girls, a middle-aged husband, and a quirky mother. She has to deal with her mom’s eccentricities and her daughters’ misbehavior in order to avoid getting pregnant. Sam’s acting career enables her to go on dates with attractive African-American men and hang out with her closest friend Sunny, but racism spoils their meal. Imposters
Madison appeared as young Maddie in the American dark comedy television series Imposters. In Richard’s hometown, a bunch of crooks known as the Bumblers are compelled to sell a ring. However, Richard’s former lover, who is currently a police deputy, interrupts the transaction. As a safety measure, they are made to travel to Mexico, where Richard acknowledges that he does not have the ring. Patrick is removed from the probe and sent to a low-level office. With the intention of leading a quiet life, Maddie relocates to a small town. Ezra makes advances for Rosa, the pickpocket, while Maddie hurts Shelly before running to a holistic health facility. After finding a hint, Patrick takes some time off to find Maddie.
Jules’ domineering sister Poppy complicates the Bumblers’ attempt to cross the border by coyote. Richard finds himself drawn to Maddie after he discovers that she totally stole the idea for her “Alice” act from Poppy. Since Maddie is back on the run, Patrick’s former boss is concerned that he still has feelings for her.
The Bumblers are forced by Lenny to complete a task for the Doctor: obtaining the ring from a Vermont collector who purchased Richard’s Toby Jug. After luring Maddie to the cabin, Sally recruits everyone to help her carry out her scheme to eliminate the Doctor and win their freedom. In the hopes that the ring is still within, Ezra makes an effort to win over Charlotte, the Toby Jug collector, so he can access the jug. When Sophia knocks on Charlotte’s door, Ezra takes the ring and goes on the hunt for the Doctor.
