Prior to his present position, Wirth was vice chairman of the board in 2017 and executive vice president of Chevron Corporation’s Midstream & Development from 2016 to 2018. He was in charge of supply and trading, shipping, pipelines, and electricity operations, as well as corporate strategy, business growth, policy, government, and public affairs in that post.
From 2006 through 2015, Wirth served as executive vice president of Downstream & Chemicals. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, he was president of Global Supply and Trading.
