Because of the animosity between his parents, his mother hired both of his boys to kill their father.
Deadshot’s association with the Secret Six, a mercenary gang formed in opposition to the Society, and his daughter Zoe have limited his desire to die. Though he is mainly concerned with himself and is willing to betray his friends when it suits him, he reluctantly bonds with the Six.
