Michael Hyatt is an actor from Britain who has appeared on stages across the country prior to her employment in television and movies, most notably in Broadway’s Ragtime. She portrayed Detective Sheila Muncie on Ray Donovan, Dr. Noelle Akopian on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Brianna Barksdale on The Wire, and Cissy Saint on Snowfall.

Hyatt was born to Jamaican-born parents, Charles Hyatt, an actor, presenter, and comedian, and Vera Hyatt, an art historian, museologist, and former deputy director of the National Gallery of Jamaica. Hyatt was first introduced to theater and the arts as a young child through her parents’ careers in Jamaica in the 1970s.

When Hyatt was ten years old, she moved to the US with her mother and two siblings. After residing in Maryland, the family moved to Washington, D.C. Hyatt graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University with a Master of Fine Arts. She completed a theater practicum at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., while in college. She was an assistant to director Spike Lee while attending graduate school.

Real estate tycoon Cissy lost her job at her company after discovering that her son Franklin was involved in business. She consented to work with Franklin using her experience even after losing her job, even taking part in a transaction with Paul Davis. Following the events involving Teddy, she and Alton took refuge in Cuba. After Alton vanished, Cissy came back and watched Franklin construct West-Side Development. She discovered Veronique was a grandma when they first met.

The real reason Cissy went back was because she received a weird call from a man called Rubén who claimed to be from the family and to be able to provide information on her husband in exchange for her assistance with Teddy. Teddy had taken over Franklin’s riches, and she tried to get in touch with Rubén. She told Franklin about her KGB buddies and the scheme to assassinate Teddy after robbing Louie and Jerome of their money.

With life without parole in front of her, Cissy killed Teddy in broad daylight. After learning that Franklin had made false promises, she formally severed her relationship with him. With life in prison without the possibility of release, Cissy has formally severed her relationship with him.

Hyatt appeared as Mullins in the American science fiction comedy drama series Crunch Time. In the show, a group of students create a device that lets them into people’s dreams. They had to explain their acts to the authorities because they somehow caused a black hole to appear in their laboratory. On January 8, 2019, the series debuted on El Rey Network in the United States.

Hyatt The Kill Point

Hyatt appeared as Lieutenant Connie Reubens, the commander of the SWAT team in the American television series The Kill Point. A bank is robbed by Jake “Mr. Wolf” Mendez, a former Marine Corps sergeant, and his guys, who were all members of the “10-13” military battalion that took part in combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. They are fired at by law enforcement, private security, and vigilantes as they make their way outside to the getaway automobile. They kidnap the bank patrons after being forced to retreat back into the bank due to the getaway driver’s injuries and their disabled vehicle. While members of the “10-13” outside the bank and the father of one of the hostages try to assist Mr. Wolf and his group in escaping, hostage negotiator Captain Horst Cali tries to break the hostage situation.
