He wrote and reported for Entertainment Weekly from 2008 to 2010, before founding his own television news website, TVLine. Ausiello also released a memoir, Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies, in 2017. Ausiello worked as the senior news editor of Soaps In Depth magazine for three years and as the media relations coordinator for Entertainment Tonight. In the year 2000, he began writing for TV Guide. He worked at TV Guide for eight years, writing for both the magazine and the internet. Today’s News, The Ausiello Report, a weekly print column that expanded into a regularly updated blog online, and Ask Ausiello, an exclusively online weekly Q&A, were among Ausiello’s writings at TV Guide. Ausiello contributes to TV Guide Talk, the website’s weekly podcast, and the weekly TV Guide Channell.
The Ausiello Report was also available as a podcast.
