Meena Sameh Dimian is an Egyptian-American broadcaster, writer, actor, and international television personality. He is best recognized for hosting the Middle East’s most popular panel talk show. Dimian is renowned for Freedomless (2007), In the Summer Pavilion, and The Hyperglot (2013).

Career
Meena was a young Johnny Carson fan in the 1980s. This got him thinking about actors and the art of stand-up comedy. While studying philosophy at Rutgers University, he began writing stories, hoping to one day become a comedian in New York. Within three years, he was on NBC’s talk show, performing at every major club in the city and playing sold-out venues such as New York City Hall. Dimian first came to the world of television when he was hired as a member of the New York television station’s news program “CityScoop”. The show made local, regional and national news and was nominated for 4 New York Emmy Awards during its tenure. In 2008, he became a member of Abu Dhabi-1’s flagship talk show Zahret Al Khalieg, similar to ABC’s The View. Zahret Al Khalieg is still the most watched TV series in the region.
