His next job was as the morning meteorologist at KETV in Omaha, Nebraska, where he worked for nine years. Since everyone is curious, his alarm went off at 1:40 a.m. every day for nearly a decade! He was part of the forecasting team that covered the twin EF-4 tornadoes in Pilger, Nebraska, as well as the 2019 spring floods.
