Matt Gibb Squirt
Gibbs made his television debut as the host of Squirt. Squirt is a children’s television show created in Dunedin, New Zealand. It premiered on TV3 in 1996, then transferred to TV2 in 1997 before concluding on November 21, 2006. Squirt broadcast every Saturday morning, first from 7 am to 9 am, then from 8:30 am to 10 am, and then for only 30 minutes from 8:30 am to 9 am. Cartoons such as Cow & Chicken, Batman of the Future, and Earthworm Jim were broadcast at the time. There were also weekly tournaments and a variety of informational features including “Out There!” and “Amazing Squirt Facts.”
