Marc Jampole is an American poet, public relations executive, former TV news reporter, and political blogger. Jampole founded Jampole Communications, Inc. in 1989. As principal, Jampole authored over 1,800 publications and was a well-known lecturer on media relations and crisis communication.

Jampole taught French, German, literature, and cinema at the University of Washington. He also produced a number of avant-garde films, which were screened at various independent cinema festivals. Jampole founded Jampole Communications, Inc. in 1989. As principal, Jampole authored over 1,800 publications and was a well-known lecturer on media relations and crisis communication. He was frequently mentioned in the media as a public relations guru. Jampole also created communications plans for over 100 crises and oversaw three of the largest Chapter 11 bankruptcies in American history, including Allegheny International and two Penn Traffic Company bankruptcies. At the end of 2016, Jampole sold Jampole Communications’ operations to Pittsburgh-based Wordwrite Communications, where he is executive vice president. Jampole also writes for Jewish Currents and serves on its editorial board.
Jampole has only released one book of poetry, Music From Words (Bellday Books 2007). Many poetry journals and anthologies have published his poems, including The Mississippi Review, The Evansville Review, The Courtland Review, Vallum, Cutthroat, Slant Magazine, Illumen, Oxford Magazine, Janus Head, Only the Sea Keeps (2005 Bayeaux Arts Press), Wilderness House Literary Review, Ellipsis, Journey (2009 Eden Waters Press), and Acapella Zoo, among others. Four of his poems were nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2008.
Jampole has been writing the OpEdge blog since 2009.
