Luke Kirby is an American-Canadian actor best known for his role as Lenny Bruce in the Amazon Prime Video comedy-drama series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.

In the American crime comedy-drama television series Panhandle, he played Bellwether “Bell” Prescott, an old-fashioned eccentric, alcoholic, and loquacious polymath who lives alone with his mother and pet alligator in his massive home. Bell has a diverse set of specialty interests and various degrees from online university programs, making him an expert at solving crimes.
Bellwether Prescott, a wealthy, eccentric, and agoraphobic man, has been confined to his family estate and grounds due to a severe anxiety problem since the death of his wife Vida Perez five years ago, and obsessively researches local killings as a hobby. Cammie Lorde, a cop stuck on traffic duty and renowned for issuing speeding fines, has recently moved to the nearby town of Boggsville with her son Tyler and is hiding mysteries about her past and true identity.
When a murder happens on the Prescott property, Bell enlists the help of a reluctant Cammie, who is unfamiliar with his eccentricities, as they investigate crimes and try to track down his wife’s murderer with the help of a strange cast of local folks. As Bell and Cammie gradually form a friendship despite their opposing personalities, they may be able to help each other overcome their personal challenges.

He appeared as Davis Calloway, a recurring character in the Gossip Girl revival. Davis is Julien Calloway’s absentee father, and he has a grudge against Nick Lott for his affair with Davis’s wife, which resulted in the birth of their daughter. Davis married Marion; they had a daughter named Julien. Davis’ money came from his amazing career as a record producer for musical artists. Marion was disillusioned with her life and had an affair with Nicholas Lott. She left her husband and children to be with Nick, and they had a child together, Zoya. Marion died before getting the opportunity to raise any of her daughters.
