Feldman began her career as a stand-up comedian at the age of 16 and made her television debut as a performer and writer for Nickelodeon’s All That in 1995.

Feldman began his career in television at the age of 16 as an on-screen presence and made his television debut in 1995 as an actor and writer for All About Nickelodeon. The City Graduates and The Groundlings. He went on to write for Blue Collar TV, Gold in Cleveland, The Best House, the 79th, 86th and 87th Academy Awards, 2 Broke Girls and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, for which he won four Emmy Awards. He created the NBC comedy One Big Thing, starring Elisha Cuthbert and executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres.
Feldman has been the host of the YouTube talk show This Just Out, which celebrates gender equality, since 2008. The “good gay” show, filmed at Liz’s restaurant, features LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly actors, actresses, writers, and musicians. Liz has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights. In 2008, she joked about gay marriage (“The gay marriage thing is important to me, or as I like to call it, ‘marriage,’ you know, because I had lunch, not a gay lunch. ‘I’m not gay.'”) during a protest against Proposition 8, which opposed same-sex marriage, and was shared thousands of times across platforms. In 2012, she was named one of The Advocate magazine’s “40 Under 40” list. In 2016, she signed a full-year contract with CBS Studios.
Feldman created and executive produced the Netflix dark drama Dead to Me in 2019, executive produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Dead to Me premiered on Netflix on May 3, 2019. The series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on Netflix on May 8, 2020. In July 2020, Netflix revived the series for a third and final season. On July 6, 2020, Netflix announced that Feldman had signed a multi-year development deal, with all of his future projects set to be Netflix original series. In 2020, he won the WGA Award for Best Original Screenplay for the sequel to Die For Me. He was also named to The Hollywood Reporter’s “50 Most LGBTQ Actors in Hollywood” list.
