Lindy Thackston Hogue is an American journalist and anchor. She previously served as a trackside and pit lane reporter for Versus’ coverage of the IndyCar Series. Thackston co-anchored Fox affiliate WXIN’s morning program with Scott Jones.

Career
Having spent his childhood listening to sports on the radio, Saxon’s interest in American open-wheel racing was piqued when he competed in the Indy 500 Princess in May 2001. He worked at Southern Illinois television station WSIL-TV for two years. Thaxton later worked for First News in Jacksonville, Florida. He said his favorite news was a story about a date rape drug that came out in 2006. hosted the US Sailing Cup game show “Quest for the Cup” on HDNet. , he accepted. He worked at Versus and became a radio announcer for the IndyCar Series in March 2009 and moved to Orlando, Florida. Thaxton serves as interim host of the channel’s IndyCar broadcast. He also served as a college football reporter for Versus.
Thaxton hosts the Versus show “The Daily Buzz” and hosts a weekly men’s football and basketball season review show on the Big East Conference website. He moved to Indianapolis to race in the 2011 IndyCar Series, which meant he couldn’t work college football for Versus. Thackston left the channel in 2012 to work in social media for Ed Carpenter Racing. He was replaced by former driver Townsend Bell. Saxton also serves as the public address announcer for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and has been on Fox affiliate WXIN’s morning news since October 2013. On October 10, 2016, he replaced Kristin Kane as Scott Jones’ partner.
