Her career on CBS2 and KCAL9 in Los Angeles spanned two decades, from 1997 to 2018. Nguyen worked as a news anchor and reporter for NBC affiliate KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California, before joining the nation’s second-largest television market. She also hosted a quarterly program on Asian-American issues. Prior to California, Leyna was anchoring the news on CBS affiliate WRDW-TV in Augusta, Georgia. Her credits include NCIS: Los Angeles, Boston Legal, Two and a Half Men, Pushing Daisies, Austin Powers in Goldmember, The Day After Tomorrow, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
