Fisher served as a writer from 2013 to 2017. Fisher, who directed and executive produced the second season of the romantic drama series The Mindy Project, wrote Season 5, Episode 12, “Mindy Lahiri Is White.” From 2017 to 2019, Fisher served as a writer and executive producer on the procedural police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
