He’s also appeared in Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and Temptations: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. He appeared in the 2010 film Our Family Wedding and as Secret Service Agent Marcus Finley in the NBC political drama Crisis.

Lance Gross Tyler Perry’s House of Payne
He appeared as Calvin Payne, Ella and Curtis’s only son in the American sitcom television series Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. Calvin was created specifically for the TBS/BET version of the show. He was a college student who rarely attended class at the start of the series. He took several years to complete and graduate. Calvin considered himself a player until he married Miranda.
Calvin, like his cousin C.J., spends a lot of time at the firehouse with Curtis until he becomes a partner at the barbershop and eventually finds his calling working in the public relations department for the local fire department. In Season 8, he discovers that he has a son, Calvin Jr., and begins working in the public relations department with C.J., Janine, and Roland.
Calvin and Miranda have been divorcing for several years when Calvin is shot by Travis, whom he had previously fought for hitting on his wife. He appeared as Michael Rhodes Jr., the son of Brenda who plays basketball in the 2008 American romantic comedy-drama film Meet the Browns. Brenda Brown-Davis is a single mother of three children: Mike Jr., Lena, and Tosha. She receives word that her father has died and that his funeral will be held in Georgia. She meets half-siblings who were unaware of her existence and is surprised to meet Harry, who offers money in exchange for a one-night stand. They learn after the funeral that Pop Brown left Brenda an old house in his will, but she decides not to move in. Harry counsels Mike Jr. and takes him home, but Brenda threatens to kick him out if he begins dealing drugs.
After Mike Jr. recovers, Harry approaches the Browns for assistance in acquiring Pop Brown’s run-down house for Brenda and her children, but Brenda overhears Vera discussing with Sarah that Harry is only dating Brenda to get his “perks” from assisting Mike Jr. Brenda confronts Harry, and they reconcile, eventually marrying. The Browns are seen at Brenda and Harry’s wedding, but Mike Jr. tells the press that he does not know his father and that his mother raised him alone.

She appeared as Marcus Boyd in the 2010 American romantic comedy film Our Family Wedding. Marcus Boyd, a young African-American, recently graduated from Columbia Medical School and will spend a year working with Doctors Without Borders in Laos.
