Biermann was set to star in a new Bravo reality show called NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches with fellow The Real Housewives cast member NeNe Leakes. The network, however, later decided not to proceed with the show.

The 21st season of Dancing with the Stars featured Zolciak-Biermann as a contestant. She was paired with Tony Dovolani, a professional dancer. She withdrew three weeks into the competition in September 2015 due to a transient ischemic attack that prevented her from flying. Zolciak began working on a country music album in 2008. In 2009, she released her first single, the dance track “Tardy for the Party,” followed by a remix EP the following year.
