Kim Carton Divorce – Ex-husband and Children
Kim was married to Craig Carton, a former WFAN morning radio show host. Kim and Carton had been together since the 1990s until Craig got arrested and convicted for his involvement in a multimillion-dollar ticket resale ponzi scheme in 2017 and was released in 2019. When Craig was proven guilty of fraud charges, he and his wife settled on separation after a period of several weeks with Kim walking out on him emotionally. Prior to the arrest, the Cartons had moved into a new apartment in Tribeca and after the arrest and subsequent separation, Carton would often crash at his New Jersey house.
Craig was a co-host of the New York City-based sports radio program ‘Boomer and Carton’ on WFAN (AM) from 2007 to 2017. His stint at the radio show came to an abrupt end after he was accused of being part of a ticket resale scam totaling to $5 million. He was sentenced to 42 months in prison for the crime and an additional 3 years probation.
Kim and Craig have four children, 3 sons and a daughter, namely; Sonny, Lucky, Anthony and Mickey Carton. The former couple first met through a mutual friend and fell for each other. After dating for a while, they wed in a private ceremony with only family and friends in attendance.
Kim Carton’s Professional Life – VALLEY Boutique Store
Since September 2013, Kim has been a co-owner of a clothing boutique store named ‘Valley’ after her home town Huntington Valley. Her business partner is known as Jackie Brookstein, also a longtime friend of Kim. The idea of starting a clothing store stemmed from Jackie being displaced by the 2012 hurricane Sandy. She was desperate for shelter and when she approached Kim, they decided to collaborate on a business.
While she was still married to Craig, the two ran a charity organization known as ‘Tic Toc Stop Foundation’. When he was a teenager, Craig was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome, hence, he formed the organization with the aim of helping children with the disease deal with it.
Kim has been described as being notoriously private about her life and that of her children, so much that she is not featured in the documentary ‘Wild Card: The Downfall of a Radio Loudmouth’ by HBO. The documentary’s directors revealed that they had made an agreement that Kim’s private life had to be respected and such, Craig only mentions his ex-wife’s and kids’ names in the documentary once in a while but they are conspicuously absent.
