Ken Reid is an American stand-up comedian located in Boston. Reid began performing stand-up comedy while studying at Goldsmiths, University of London in the United Kingdom. In 2003, he returned to Boston and began performing regularly at the Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Reed began performing stand-up while a student at Goldsmiths College, University of London, England. She returned to Boston in 2003 and became a regular at the Comedy Workshop in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Reed is a member of the performing arts group The Untrainables, a group of artists represented at ImprovBoston. She continues to perform in the Boston area, including at the 2006 Boston Music Awards, the Women in Comedy Festival, the Charleston Comedy Festival, the Eugene Millman Comedy Festival, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Reed has toured with Todd Barry and has opened for audiences including Patton Oswalt, Tig Notaro, Bob Saget, and John Oliver. He appeared in a photo ad for The Bad Bostonian Magazine’s June 2009 “Sex & Love” special issue, recreating the iconic Marilyn Monroe’s final photo. That same year, he appeared in an ad for a comedy website that aired on Comedy Central, and in September, he was named “Joke of the Week” by Time Out New York. In 2010 and 2012, he was named Boston’s Best Comedian by the Boston Phoenix, and in 2013, he was named “One of Boston’s Best Comics and Stand-Up Comedians” by CBS 4 Boston.
Reid is the creator of Damaged Goods Auction, a storytelling program in which performers tell stories about items in their lives and then sell those items to viewers. Reid is a frequent guest on podcasts such as Myq Kaplan’s Hang Out With Me, KCRW’s Unfictional, The Dana Gould Hour, Doug Loves Movies, and Risk. In February 2014, Reid launched his own podcast called The Engineer TV Advice, in which he and an actor discuss old TV viewing options. Guests include Amy Sedaris, Vanessa Angel, Julia Duffy, Laura Kightlinger, Melanie Chartoff, Laraine Newman, Michael Ian Black, and Kumail Nanjiani. That same year, Reid became the host and creator of the variety show “Members Lounge.” In November 2018, his conversation with moderator Ann Coulter went viral. Reid was a member of the Boston punk band 30 Seconds Over Tokyo in the mid-1990s. The group was formed in the same state as Dropkick Murphys, Ducky Boys and Invisibles.
