Weier competed in Miss Iowa USA 2015, finishing second runner-up to eventual winner Taylor Even, and the following year she returned to compete in the same pageant competition, finishing first runner-up to eventual winner Alissa Morrison. Weier returned the following year and was crowned Miss Iowa USA 2017 by outgoing titleholder Morrison.
