He wrote and performed in several stage shows at UCBT in New York City and continues to perform at UCBT venues in Los Angeles. He is a member of the bands “The Smokes” and “Reuben Starship”. Diebold has appeared in recurring sketches on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and is a member of the MTV comedy prank series “Boiling Point”. In 2006, he became a writer for the twelfth season of MADtv and served as an associate producer for the fourteenth season.
In 2009, he joined the writing staff of Parks and Recreation, working there for several seasons.
