Kate Garraway is an English journalist and broadcaster. Garraway worked as a journalist for ITV News Central in the 1990s and later as a co-presenter for ITV News Meridian. GMTV was co-presented by her from 2000 until 2010. In 1989, Garraway joined the South version of ITV News Focal on ITV Focal as a creation writer, correspondent and news moderator. In 1996, she became co-moderator of the South East release of ITV News Meridian on ITV Meridian after she was “ability spotted” a her by a manager introducing a three-minute notice on ITV Focal.
In 1998, Garraway joined Dawn on Sky News with Martin Stanford.
Garraway joined GMTV in September 2000, co-giving GMTV Today Andrew Palace every Friday (and Thursdays later on).
