In the episodes “Booby Trap” and “Transfigurations” from the third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, she portrayed Christy Henshaw. In the ninth season of Grey’s Anatomy, Warner portrayed Rebecca Lanz in the episode titled The End is the Beginning is the End. Taylor, Rebecca’s daughter, argued she couldn’t be pregnant when she arrived at the ER complaining of stomach pain. The results of the pregnancy test were negative. She was brought into surgery because of an unexplained lump in her belly. During the surgical procedure, it was determined that the source of the bezoar was her eating her own hair as a result of an anxiety illness known as trichotillomania.
Rebecca gives her daughter a lot of control. Upon discovering that her daughter had consumed her own hair, she attempted to persuade her to simply cease eating her hair instead of seeking medical attention.
