She relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. Gonzalo received her first acting role when she was 20 years old. She appeared in various television series like ‘Greetings from Tucson and ‘NCIS’. In 2003, she co-starred in the film ‘Freaky Friday with actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

Gonzalo was offered the role of Gloria in the 2007 Spanish film ‘Ladrón Que Roba a Ladrón’. Gonzalo received top billing in the film, which was a huge success. With the short film ‘Silent Night,’ she also ventured into film production in 2007. She both produced and acted in the film. She followed up with another short film, ‘Pink Eye,’ in 2009. Both short films were well-received by audiences.
