She is the only original panelist currently appearing on ABC’s daytime talk show The View, which she co-hosts. From 2009 to 2011, she hosted The Joy Behar Show on HLN, and from 2012 to August 2013, she presented Joy Behar: Say Anything! on Current TV. Late Night Joy, Behar’s most recent weekly late-night chat show, premiered on TLC in 2015. She’s also the author of The Great Gasbag: An A–Z Study Guide for Surviving the Trump Era.

Since 2007, she has appeared as a guest host on Larry King Live on a sporadic basis. Behar announced on June 11, 2009, that she would be presenting her own news/talk show, The Joy Behar Show, on CNN’s HLN beginning in the fall of 2009. She did not leave The View; instead, she worked on both shows at the same time. HLN chose to cancel the chat show after only two years, despite it being the network’s second-highest-rated show. Joy Behar: Say Anything! will premiere on the Current TV network on September 4, 2012. It was officially confirmed in June 2012 that Behar will be receiving another talk show. Behar began filling in for Eliot Spitzer’s Current TV talk show, Viewpoint with Eliot Spitzer, on July 18, 2012, before the new show debuted. Current TV was purchased by Al Jazeera in August 2013, and the show was replaced by Al Jazeera America.
