On various television shows, including The Secret Life of the American Teenager in 2012 and Liv and Maddie from 2015 to 2017, he made appearances on a regular basis to launch his acting career. In addition, he starred in Rent: Live and had supporting parts in the television movies Teen Beach Movie, Teen Beach 2, and Grease Live.

He appeared as Jacob Bowman Gudina in seasons 4 and 5 of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. The late Marshall Bowman’s son, Jacob is Grace Bowman’s half-brother and Tom Bowman’s adopted younger brother. Marshall had an affair while he was married to Kathleen Bowman, and that is how he came to be.
During Kathleen’s trip to Zimbabwe with her husband Jeff Tseguay, Jacob made his television debut in the episode They Gotta Eat. When Kathleen learns that Jacob is Marshall’s child, she is upset.
When she returns to California, Jacob wants to spend the summer with her there so he may get to know his siblings. Jacob finally got his wish at the conclusion of the episode Suddenly Last Summer when Kathleen agreed to let him join them. She indicates for him to follow her inside as she unlocks the entrance to her home, and Grace arrived downstairs shortly after that.
