Joel Defries is a British-born presenter who worked from 2008 to 2010 on the BBC One children’s show Blue Peter. He formerly worked for New Zealand’s C4 television channel.

He also had a successful radio career, hosting Joel’s Take Out on the Edge every Sunday morning. He was a former Vodafone Select Live presenter. Defries opted to return to the United Kingdom to pursue new prospects in radio and television.
Defries hosted 26 episodes of the CBBC show Keep Your Enemies Close in 2009, a children’s game show that puts friends to the test by tearing them apart and forcing them to work with their opponents instead.
