Randazzo, an active Twitter user and critic of Internet memes, was nominated for the 2009 ECNY Award for Outstanding Performance in the Field of Tweeting. Randazzo has appeared on NPR’s This American Life, PBS’s Charlie Rose, and MSNBC’s Morning Joe. The College Historical Society of Trinity College Dublin awarded Randazzo the Burke Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Public Discourse through the Arts in 2012.
After moving to New York City, Randazzo met Carol Kolb while performing at the Magnet Theatre. In 2016, he helped write The Picture of the Deal: The Movie, an adaptation of Donald Trump’s autobiographical novel of the same name. Randazzo left his position at Manhattan Fruitier in March 2006 to join the editorial staff of The Arm. He was a columnist and author of “Our Stupid World”, a 2007 anthology for The Onion’s Standard Desk Atlas, and was promoted to editor in 2008. Randazzo’s work has been featured in The Onion, Three Fronts magazine, listing his products for sale to Chinese readers, and initiating nominations for the Pulitzer Prize. Randazzo, who lives in Brooklyn, reportedly left The Arm after moving his clinic to Chicago.
