Joe Manganiello is an American actor well known for his roles in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and his performance in the five seasons of HBO’s True Blood.

Family – Education
Manganiello was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Susan and Charles Manganiello. His mother is of both German and Armenian origin. Manganiello’s father was born in Massachusetts, outside of Boston. Joe Manganiello was raised in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania. According to researchers on PBS’s Finding Your Roots, Emilio Manganiello’s legal paternal grandfather was not his biological grandfather, and his biological great-grandparents were William Henry Cutler and Nell Alton.
They traced Manganiello’s paternal heritage down to Plato Turner, an African slave who fought in the American Revolution. His maternal great-grandmother, Terviz “Rose” Darakjian, survived the Armenian genocide and became pregnant with German soldier Karl Wilhelm Beutinger. He has a younger brother named Nicholas.
Manganiello was raised Catholic and graduated from St. Bernard School in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, with honors in 1995. He participated in football, basketball, and volleyball, as well as in the school’s TV studio. After suffering a number of sports injuries, he auditioned for the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama but was not accepted. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and worked in theatre before applying to Carnegie Mellon. In 2000, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting. He participated in group auditions and made contacts in the entertainment world.

He got engaged to actress Sofía Vergara on Christmas Eve 2014, after six months of courtship. They got married on November 22, 2015, in Palm Beach, Florida. Manganiello and Vergara announced to Page Six on July 17, 2023, that they had separated and planned to divorce after seven years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in February 2024.

American Heiress
He made appearances in Spider-Man and Spider-Man 3 as Flash Thompson.While courting Mary Jane Watson, Eugene “Flash” Thompson sat next to her on the bus and made fun of Peter Parker for having to run after the bus. Later, after Peter unintentionally splashed Flash in the back with a tray of food while using a web, Flash pursued Peter and they got into a battle in the school corridor, during which Peter revealed the new powers he had acquired from being bitten by a spider. Peter first hesitated to fight Flash, even though Flash encouraged him to.
Flash began pounding Peter, but Peter ducked and avoided the blows. He then grabbed Flash’s wrist, twisted it, and punched him in the chest, sending him flying across the hallway. One Tree Hill
After moving to Tree Hill, ex-alcoholic and drug user Owen Morello started working as a bartender at Tric. Following their meeting, Brooke Davis and I flirted until we were dating. Once he got back together with Nathan and they began playing Slamball, he tried to apologize to Brooke, but she wouldn’t accept him. Owen had a terrible upbringing and developed a heroin addiction at a young age. With Chase Adams’ assistance, Owen was able to change his life and stay sober for eight years. Following high school, Owen and Chase moved in together and developed a strong friendship. Owen made his debut in Tree Hill at the bar he ran, TRIC. For a little while, Owen turned off Brooke Davis’ advances. Eventually, he flew to New York with her, where they discovered Rachel Gatina—someone Owen knew from his days as a junkie—had overdosed. They brought her back and made an unsuccessful attempt to keep her sober. After a brief liaison during which Brooke expressed her desire to adopt a child, Owen fled the scene.
