His comprehensive records included hundreds of assignments from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran. Murrow award.
He also received the George Polk Award and a citation for Excellence from the Overseas Press Club for his clandestine reporting from Myanmar, where he placed official controls to reveal the stories of that country’s authoritarian dictatorship.
