She currently works as a studio host and entertainment reporter for the DISH Network. She was one of three hosts on GSN’s PlayMania before it split into two distinct shows, and she later hosted QuizNation. York hosted the debut episode of PlayMania on October 19, 2006. She remained to host until February 2007, when the show was divided into two segments: quiznation and 100 Winners. She hosted both series until 100 Winners was discontinued in June and QuizNation was canceled in October. York graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. York went on to host the Resort Sports Network’s morning show “Summit Sunrise” after graduating.
She subsequently went on to anchor two RSN shows: Hot Spots, where she presented locales throughout the world and their unique features, and Thrill Seekers, a program about adventurous and extreme sports. York has previously worked as a weather forecaster for WMTW-TV in Portland, Maine, and hosted HGTV’s New Spaces for two seasons. After relocating from Maine to Los Angeles, York worked for the TVG Network as a studio host, studio analyst, and trackside reporter. York is also a certified personal trainer. She has released one home video, Body to Go.
