Moore made her network debut on CNN during the Northpoint Prison riots in Lexington, and she reported for the Weather Channel when a huge snowstorm hit the state. A catastrophic tornado blasted through Central Kentucky in 2009. Moore won an Emmy for her coverage of the storm’s aftermath on spot news.
Moore relocated to New York from Las Vegas, where she received nine Emmy nominations, including best news anchor and outstanding live event anchoring. During the 2012 presidential election, she hosted numerous hours of live breaking news and election coverage, including an exclusive interview with Mitt Romney. She is a dedicated animal enthusiast who is active in the neighborhood. Moore’s previous volunteer work was with the Make A Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.
