McKenna role on Star Trek
Jessica plays Cerritos Computer and Barnes in Star Trek: Lower Decks. Ensign Barnes was a 2380s-era unjoined female junior officer in the Trill Starfleet operations section. She was an operations officer on board the USS Cerritos, serving under Captain Carol Freeman.
In 2380, while on a second contact mission to the Galardon, Barnes went on a date with Ensign Sam Rutherford. After engaging in combat with the infected crew, they succeeded in cutting a route through the “zombie” crew. They broke up and were at the operations station when Beckett Mariner’s loud and boisterous singing filled the ship.
Barnes covered the USS Merced’s passage close to the Cerritos tow sector while attending management training classes. Following Rutherford’s modest personality change brought on by his cybernetic implant being removed, Barnes and Rutherford reconnected in 2381. When the Cerritos received a transmission—which turned out to be Queen Paolana—Barneson was on the bridge. Victoria Nuzé, a reporter for Federation News Network, accidentally conducted an interview with her during which she made fun of the Engineering team for their breakdown and lack of sleep.
McKenna role on The Mighty Ones
McKenna appeared as Rocksy & Tim in the American animated television series The Mighty Ones. The titular quartet—a twig, a pebble, a leaf, and a strawberry—is followed by The Mighty Ones. These rambunctious pals live in the garden and embrace life to the fullest.
An all-girl rock band used to have a backyard in the first two seasons. The band was kicked out in the first three episodes of the third season, and a young, hipster couple with a baby took up residence. Time travel disproved this, returning things to their original state.
McKenna role on DC Super Hero Girls
She provides the voice of DC Super Hero Girls’ Garth Bernstein/Aqualad. In the second iteration of the DC Super Hero Girls franchise, Garth Bernstein, better known by his stage name Aqualad, is a recurrent supporting character.
He attends Metropolis High School and is a member of The Invinci-Bros. He’s a little bit of a dork. Like all Atlanteans, Aqualad is able to control water, speak with marine life, and breathe underwater.
With little water, Garth can get feeble. He can, however, be among the most powerful characters in the series if he has access to a lot of water because he was the only one to defeat Zod, a foe who even Supergirl and Wonder Woman were losing to—though Zod had recently been exposed to Kryptonite. Among Garth’s closest pals is Karen. She thinks highly of him.
When the Invincibros and Super Hero Girls battle crime together, Supergirl and Aqualad are matched together every time. The two didn’t communicate much at first, and Kara didn’t seem to take Garth seriously. However, the two grew close both during and after the events of “According to Garth”.
