Career
Ramos’ first journalism job after college was as a reporter at WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee. He also anchored weekend news on the station. While at WBBJ, Ramos worked without a writer or staff member, writing and even speaking on his own. In 2007, he joined Fox CT (now Fox 61) as a correspondent in Hartford, Connecticut; While in Hartford, Ramos also wrote columns for local publications such as the Hartford Courant.
From 2012 to 2014, Ramos contributed live broadcasts to the golf cable TV venture Back9Network with her husband Jamie Bosworth. In 2014, Ramos moved to Fox New York station WNYW-TV as a news anchor. In 2017, she was promoted to daily co-anchor of the station’s morning news program Good Day Wake Up, which airs before Good Day New York, alongside longtime New York TV news anchor Sukanya Krishnan. During this time, she also hosted Studio 5, an entertainment news special on WNYW.
In August 2019, Lammers left WNYW to join an innovative news program. Ramos moved to Los Angeles and began covering the show in September 2019. This includes the 2020 Ballon d’Or. In January 2023, Ramos joined Good Day Los Angeles alongside extra correspondent Melvin Robert, possibly returning to local television to report for Extra. Lammers has been an advocate for domestic violence prevention since 2009.
