Since the beginning of “Making the MOOSt of It” in 1995, Moos has investigated everything from three-legged pantyhose to two-headed tortoises, with a recent concentration on the quirky aspects of the 2008 presidential campaign. Her reports are now referred to as “MOOSt Unusual” during Out Front.
Moos investigated happenings at the United Nations throughout the Gulf War before delivering her distinctive reports, and her coverage earned her the 1991 Korn/Ferry International Journalism Award. In 1989, Moos covered the Beijing student rebellion and conducted an interview with Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev.
