Jeananne Goossen Slasher
She appeared as Dr. Persephone Trinh in the anthology horror television series Slasher. Persephone Trinh is the unseen villain from Slasher’s fourth season, Slasher: Flesh & Blood. Trinh was an end-of-life specialist (a doctor who assists assisted suicides) who was also a vicious serial murderer who found the thought of ending people’s lives sexually appealing. She allegedly murdered a number of victims in medical malpractice lawsuits while they were in excruciating pain. Rumors began to circulate about her, attracting the attention of shipping magnate Spencer Galloway, who was dying of cancer.
Spencer Galloway employs (and blackmails) her to pay his end-of-life care because he does not want to die in anguish like his first wife, Annette, who died of cancer. Spencer was a bitter and snobbish guy who despised his family for “being disappointments.” As a result, he orders Trinh to kill any members of his family who appear to be weak in order to leave only one “strong” successor. He sends her to murder one of his son-in-laws, an artist called Reycraft, to prove she is up to the task. The villain is eager to demonstrate her mettle, and she ends up breaking Reycraft’s skull in an industrial crusher, becoming sexually aroused and groaning as she caresses his exposed brains. Trinh begins disguising herself as a plague doctor-like ghost nicknamed “the Gentleman” throughout her killings after proving herself.
Jeananne Goossen The Night Shift
She appeared as Dr. Krista Bell-Hart in the seasons 1 and 2 of the American medical drama television series The Night Shift. Dr. Krista Bell-Hart is a young surgical resident working her way up the ranks, while fellow resident Dr. Paul Cummings strives to break out of the shadow cast by his father, a well-known surgeon at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Landry de la Cruz, the shift’s lone psychiatrist, performs the night shift for a short time.
The show chronicles the evening shift at San Antonio Memorial Hospital, where three of the doctors have military ties. Dr. TC Callahan is a former United States Army doctor who first shows PTSD-like symptoms after witnessing his brother die in front of him on the battlefield.
He routinely defies regulations and bangs heads with his ex-girlfriend and recently appointed night shift chief, Dr. Jordan Alexander; Scott Clemmens, Chief Of Surgery; and Michael Ragosa, the hospital’s administrator. Dr. Topher Zia is a retired army doctor, whereas Dr. Drew Alister is a homosexual Army doctor in the reserves who first tries to conceal his sexual orientation for fear of reprisal. Krista is a surgical resident in her first year. She had a crush on Drew until she discovered he was gay, but they later became good friends. Later, she dated Kenny and Joey Chavez.
