Chung appeared on The Real World: San Diego, the 14th season of MTV’s long-running reality show The Real World, which premiered in 2004. MTV described her at the time of her selection for TRW:SD as a hardworking student who worked two jobs to support her tuition but still liked partying. Her pals also said she didn’t have the finest taste in guys.

After her appearance on The Real World, Chung participated as a cast member on its spin-off game show, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, as a cast member in that program’s 2005 season, The Inferno II, where she was a member of the “Good Guys” side, who faced the “Bad Asses.” Chung and her fellow Good Guys colleagues Darrell Taylor, Landon Lueck, and Mike Mizanin remained at the end of the season, after numerous cast members were ousted during the competition. Chung and her colleagues won the tournament by defeating the other members of the Bad Asses in the final event.

Jamie Chung Lovecraft

Chung debuted in the HBO series Lovecraft County in August 2020, beginning with the pilot episode.
