Nash made her first national television debut in Love & Basketball in 2000, as Quincy and Monica’s baby. She sang Alicia Keys’ “Fallin'” on Showtime at the Apollo in 2002. She performed at the 2003 Essence Awards, honoring Mary J. Blige by singing Michael Jackson’s song “Who’s Lovin’ You”. On Talib Kweli’s 2004 album The Beautiful Struggle, she and her younger sister Olivia perform the hook for the song “Black Girl Pain.” In a music video for Jack’s Big Music Show, she sang a version of “B-I-N-G-O” called “B-O-N-G-O.” The song was about how a bongo bird was discovered in a bongo tree.
