Dr. Topher Zia, Dr. Drew Alister, Dr. Krista Bell-Hart, and fellow resident Dr. Paul Cummings seek to break out from the shadow cast by his father, a well-known Johns Hopkins physician.
Jordan’s friendship with Dr. Scott Clemmens complicates matters when Scott is promoted to Chief of Surgery and frequently disagrees with TC. Thurman is then introduced to Stabler by Bell, who appears to have a high regard for Stabler. Stabler asks Thurman whether he’s talking about the right guy when he tells him he’s heard fantastic things about him. Thurman then expresses his joy one final time before departing the station.
